Is all CBD the same?

No, not all CBD products are created equal.

With more than 3,000 brands selling CBD products, it's easy to think that they are all the same. They're not. This short video will help explain what differentiates quality brands like Green Roads from the rest of the pack, so you can shop with confidence.

How to know you're getting high-quality CBD products

Pure ingredients and proper formulation have a big impact on the quality of CBD products.

As a pharmacist-founded company dedicated to helping every person find the healthiest version of themselves through the power of plants, Green Roads has always made product quality our top priority. We lead the industry in self-regulation through our internal processes, lab testing, consumer transparency and more, setting the gold standard for the industry.

Unfortunately, the excitement surrounding CBD has led to a flood of unreliable products on the market. Investigations by local and national news outlets, such as this report by NBC6 in Miami, have revealed that many of these products have less CBD than is promised on the label, or in some cases, no CBD at all. We believe customers deserve to know where their CBD comes from and what exactly is in each product.

These are key differentiators to look for when purchasing a CBD product

  • Sourced from hemp with the following certifications:

    • Hemp must meet or exceed the definition of industrial hemp via U.S. 2018 Farm Bill (Plant must have less than 0.3% THC content by dry weight.)

    • Certificate of origin

    • Certificate of analysis

    • Industrial hemp registrations

  • Advanced clean extraction process

  • Multi-stage third-party lab testing for potency, quality & safety

  • Every product batch tested for unwanted solvents, pesticides, and heavy metals

  • QR codes on every package that lead to lab results sheets for that specific product

How do I pick the right product?

What's the "right" amount of CBD to take?

Start with a low dose and increase slowly. Refer to the label on the packaging for recommended use. Think of this process as introducing the supplement to the body. Everyone is different. It’s not based on height and weight. You have to experiment.

How often should I take it?

While some people may feel immediate results, it is recommended that users take CBD daily and adjust dosage by increasing, decreasing, or using as needed to achieve desired effects.

What delivery system (product type) should I use?

Try different products for variations on taste and different delivery methods to identify what works best for you. Make sure you understand the labeling on your CBD products. Most importantly, you want to make sure you understand how many milligrams you are getting per serving. Many products list the total amount of CBD in the bottle, which can be confusing.
